On the one hand, "Nice to meet me" builds on the question of how a mere object (picture) becomes a meaningful image (image) and on the other hand deals with the contingency of the gaze and wants to show that our perception is a reflection of our knowledge , our culture, identity...our self is.
If we are aware of what our perception is conditioned by, that what we perceive can always be different - can we take on a new, different self? What does this fact mean for our reality?
